As a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers, fundraising and sponsorship are a critical part of our programs.  We have several programs in place to assist in raising money for our organization.  We pride ourselves in offering some of the best values as we work hard to keep registration expenses at an absolute minimum so that we offer programs to as many children as possible in our community.

Banner Advertising Program

We offer business and community sponsors a 4 x 8 banner to be placed at Rockburn Branch Park fields including the baseball fields, softball fields, and the turf fields.  This will help fund the 5 sports that we offer Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Softball & Tennis.  If you are interested in being part of our Banner Program, please contact the commissioner for the sport you wish to support, or reach out to our Director of Ways and Means at [email protected].

Concession Stand

EYO operations the concession stand at Rockburn Branch Park primarily for the convenience of our members.  Profits from the concession stand supports all of the sports programs to cover corporate expenses such as background checks on coaches, ASEP training, advertising expenses, postage, website maintenance, registration system, financial services and general day to day expenses that the organization incurs.  The concession stand is operated by volunteers and also by paid personnel who are hired as independent contractors.  If you are interested in volunteering at the concession stand or working in a paid position, contact our Director of Ways and Means at [email protected]. 

Golf Tournament

EYO hosts a golf tournament each year as a fundraiser for our Financial Assistance program (also called our Scholarship Fund).  The golf tournament is the only event that is specifically targeted to raise funds for financial assistance program, which enables EYO to allow kids from families that cannot afford the registration fees/equipment to participate in our sports programs.  Funds raised from this event over the past few years have allowed hundreds of kids to participate in EYO Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, and Tennis who otherwise wouldn’t have had the opportunity.  To learn more about playing our golf tournament or being a sponsor, visit the golf tournament page or contact the Director of Ways and Means at [email protected].

Sport, Team or Individual Sponsorship

Sponsorship of a sport, team, or an individual is a great way to get your company name out in front of the membership.  Or a way for you to personally support our sports programs.  If you are interested in sponsorship, contact the sport commissioner or the treasurer at [email protected].
