Fall 2025 Recreational Baseball

Fall recreational baseball focuses on continuing to build skills learned during the spring season and the player's passion for the game. The season is not as competitive as the fall. No playoffs or championship games are held.

Tee-ball, coach pitch, machine, and 9-10 minor league, games are played on Sundays at Rockburn park. The Machine Pitch (Rookie) and 10u league (Minor league) practice once a week. Tee-ball and coach pitch have a combined game/practice.

12u (Major League) and 15u (Pony) play their games on Saturdays either at Rockburn park or other fields within the county. There is one practice per week. Based on the number of players registered, the Major League and Pony may compete in the Howard County Alliance.

For those leagues that practice during the week, practice nights are based on coach and field availability. When registering, please note under the "other requests" question nights you are not available for practice. If you do not indicate this prior to team formation, there are no guarantees you will be switched.

Please also note you MUST identify the teammate or coach request you want during registration. If you do not indicate this at registration, your coordinator will place you on the next available team. Coaches can not request players.

Finally, it is recommended that the league you play in in the fall is the league you will play in during the spring. For example, if your player is 10, but will turn 11 during the fall season, we recommend your player join the 11/12 league.

Furthermore, if your child has never player baseball and is between the ages of 4-6, we require you put them in tee-ball. Exceptions to this will be made on a case by case basis.

Recreational Baseball Programs

EYO Baseball is a co-ed, recreational program that focuses on fun and fitness.  A program where everyone plays and everyone is valuable to the team.  Our recreational teams do not require tryouts to play.  As part of an organization with over 50 years worth of history in the area we have a rich heritage of making sports fun for kids and a great value for parents.

EYO Baseball offers opportunities in the spring and fall for players ages 4 to 18

Tee-ball league is an in-house program for 4 and 5-year olds.  The tee ball league introduces young players to the basics of baseball. Basic hitting, fielding, throwing, catching and running skills are emphasized.

Coach Pitch is an in-house league for 5 and 6-year old players.  It is a transitional league from Tee Ball and prepares players for the next level.  In addition to learning basic baseball fundamentals such as hitting, catching, fielding and throwing.  Coaches will conduct modified coach pitch games, where players will learn about making defensive plays and baserunning.

The Machine Pitch program is an in-house league for 7 and 8-year old players.  The primary goal of Rookie League baseball is to provide individualized instruction to our players, emphasizing the fundamentals of the game (hitting, throwing, catching, and running).  Additionally, this league represents the first level in the organization where the children are introduced to competitive baseball.  In the spring league, game scores count, standings are kept, and there are post-season playoffs.

9/10 Kid Pitch is an in-house program where baseball will transition kids from the pitching machine to live kid pitch.  Players will expand from baseball basics to a more competitive and skilled league that will emphasize proper hitting techniques, base running, pitching, and fielding situations.  The league is designed for 9 and 10 year old players, however, 8 years olds playing at a high level and 11 year olds who are just learning the game or not as advanced will also be considered.

11/12 Kid Pitch baseball expands the field to the 50/70 field dimensions.  Hitting, throwing, fielding, and base running skills are expanded through practice and competitive game situations.

15U Alliance Baseball opens the field up to the traditional MLB specifications.  Pitchers throw from 60 feet, and the bases are set at 90 feet.  Teams will play in the Howard County Baseball Alliance.
