2024 EYO Lady Hurricanes Rec All-Stars
EYO will continue the Travel Rec All-Stars program again in 2024 for age groups 10U (birth years 2013/2014), 12U (birth years 2011/2012), and 15U (birth years 2008*/2009/2010). To participate in the All-Stars program you may not be rostered with a 2023-2024 USSSA registered travel team. (*Note: Limited number of 2008 birth year spots are allowed on the team, however no pitchers or catchers can have a 2008 birth year)
Our 2nd and final tryout session will be held on Sunday, May 5th at the Howard High School Softball Field. We have a very limited number of sports available at 10U and 12U. The 10U and 12U will have a combined tryout session at 10AM. 15U tryouts will be at 12 Noon.
Registration (below) is required to attend tryouts.
The All-Stars season will consist of the following:
• There will be one practice every Sunday afternoon in May to not interfere with the HCRP Rec schedule.
• There will be double-header games every Sunday in the month of June. (10 games total).
• Games will be played against other Maryland Rec All-Stars and Travel-C teams.
• There will be 2 weekday evening practices per week (practice days TBD) in June and July.
• There will be Sat/Sun tournaments on July 6/7, July 20/21, and July 27/28. (Min 3 games each tournament)
• All games and tournaments will be held around the Central-Maryland region.
• Season registration price: $370.
We understand that families take vacations during the summer months and some are unable to attend all practices/games. We just ask that All-Star participants be able to attend, at a minimum, 3 of the 5 June Sunday double-headers and 2 of the 3 July weekend tournaments.
